Barcelona, Spain

Location

Barcelona is located on the northeast of Iberian Peninsula. It is almost 5 km wide by the mountain range of Collserola whichbisbthe river to the southwest and the river to the north.

Today, the fortress is a museum and Montjuic isbthe home for several needy people.

History

Still today the earliest settlement of Barcelone is unclear. No one know how did it start. The foundation of barcelona is the subjecy of two different legends. The one who was the first, played roll in founding the Barcelona city. The second legend attributes the founding of the city  directly to the historical Carthaginian general. Moreover, there is no proper evidence that this is true

Roman Barcelona

In 15 BCm under Romans , it was small area we can call it colony with the surname of Faventia. At that time it was small town of the district. Though it was samall town of its time but later it is donated that it became wealthy and richest area of time. The most wealth was found there. Not only in miney hut also in beauty. No one can deny its beauty at all. The cuty minted its own coins. Now can you realise how wealthy it was?

Recent History

The death of Franco brought revolution. Obviousy, there was pressure for the change in Barcelona. Peaceful demonstration on 11th of september 1977 assembled betweern a million people in the streets of Barcelona. Itbwas granted less than a month later which was very very short period of time. To shift our houses we need at least  two to three months and it was to merge thousands of people.

Population

Barcelona is one of the most densly populated area and populated city in Europe. Barcelona don't have even distribution of land. 45 out of 73 neighbourhoodsbhad population density almost above 20,000. The city's highest density is found here.

Religion

As in history Roman people has rule here so most ofnthe inhabitants are Roman Cayholic. The province has much more Muslim Community which used to line in spain, but not only muslims, the jewish community have have great population in Barcelona. Including them there are many other number of communities who are living here

Barcelona is one of the most visited city in the world by international visitors. It is the 5th most visited city in the Europe. Barcelona earn lot from its tourists. Thousands of tourists visits here eaxh year to look and enjoy the its beauty.

Fashion

Barcelona is called the manufacturing center of textiles. There have been many venture to make the Barcelona as the Fashion Capital. Many evens take place in Barcelona related to there fashion. Such as Urban Fashion show has been held here twice a year. In worlds top fifty fashion capitals ,barcelone is on fifth number.
